Lovely home with cozy & chic bedrooms— downstairs & upstairs one sees refurbished architectural and indoor design flourishes that make the home unique & exciting - Tiffany like lamps, crystal door handles, leaded glass, heavy refinished doors, moulding & tiles. Impeccable & an artist’s attention to detail make the inside and outside stunning. There are wide open living room & dining and sitting room spaces and a top notch state of the art kitchen with free morning coffee and an English biscuit - plus storage for one’s groceries.

I would highly recommend! We rented the Carriage Home upper and lower and the Studebaker Suite for our son's wedding weekend. Each home was special and perfect in its own way. Loved them all and would choose any of them again. The homes are clean, cozy and all the little details that went into setting up these spaces was exceptional! The location was also a plus, as it is very close to Tippecanoe Place, the venue of the wedding. Thanks for a great stay!

I only had a one night stay at Art and Lodging while in South Bend for a business trip, and I wish I had a reason to stay longer! The home is a beautifully restored Victorian just a few steps from Downtown restaurants and sites. I basically dropped my bags in room and went for a run along the St Joe waterfront, and it was so convenient from A&L. Everything was spotless and super clean, and they have thought of everything you need for your stay! I particularly enjoyed the local art displayed throughout, well stocked kitchen, and common space where I enjoyed my dinner while catching up on work, and chatting with another guest. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town next!

Had a wonderful stay in the orange room. It was cozy and comfortable. I made myself at home spending my time in quiet contemplation. This was perfect for me and my need for a silent day. Booking and confirmation was seem less. They worked with me so kindly and allowed for an earlier check in. Highly recommend booking with Art and Lodging.

The lower carriage house was a great place to stay! I had to stay for several weeks for work and it made it so much easier to come back to in the evening. Loved having a full kitchen to cook my meals and the living area was perfect for either one person or to accommodate family when they visited. Decor was comfortable and loved having lots of windows. The staff was very responsive as I had several nights of bad weather and they provided info to seek shelter. Also responded when extremely cold weather came and needed extra heat source. Would definitely stay again.

Best authentic Bed & Breakfast experience in the tri-state area; Combines cozy, classic, comfortable in the bedroom decor, house furniture, and house amenities. A bargain price with European hotel style and class. From the booking with Miss Cassandra, to the lived-in experience of a top-notch kitchen facility, to the spacious, comfortable rooms to the pleasant interactions with the facilities point person Miss Kim, you sure to enjoy Art & Lodging. I'm a freelance writer and in the last year have traveled to St. Louis, Glasgow, Montana, Colorado Springs, CO, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Washington, DC & Ann Arbor, MI so I have had lots of experiences at various hotel, motel & bed & breakfast lodgings. Art & Lodging is a top-notch, top-tier place.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house. We especially appreciated the amenities having been renovated while the house was still kept historical. The hosts were very accomodating. We had all the infornation ahead of time and self check in was very easy.

We were pleased with the property, the stay, and the quality of the finishes, inclusions, etc. We also appreciated being able to check in later in the evening. We found the property to be clean, the area nice/safe, and the owners to be helpful/responsive. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area. 😊👍

Enjoyable stay with super smooth checking in and out. Hosts were willing to answer any questions. The kitchen looked nice, but we didn’t make time to utilize it nor the common room (where the television is).
